Hey business owners! Feeling the chill in your commercial space? Here are some quick tips to reduce heating issues:
Check the Thermostat Schedule:
If you're using a programmable thermostat, ensure the schedule hasn't been messed with. A wonky schedule can mess with your comfort settings.
Watch out for Clogged Filters:
High traffic means more dust. Clean or replace filters regularly for smooth airflow and warmer vibes. For gas furnaces, clogged filters can trigger safety features to prevent overheating. Keep it clear!
Don't Ignore Your Ducts:
Restricted airflow and duct leaks can wreak havoc on your heating system. Ensure your ductwork is in top shape to avoid cold spots. If you're facing issues, give us a call, and we can help!
Refrigerant Reality (for Heat Pumps):
Heat pump user? Cold air might signal low refrigerant. Get an HVAC pro to tackle this one. Give us a call, and we can help!
Stay warm, stay cozy! If issues linger, don't hesitate to reach out to us for a heating system check-up.

A Common Question From Our Clients...
"How often should I have my unit serviced?"
Well, heating and cooling units need to have scheduled check-ups to make sure everything is operating properly. HVAC experts recommend an annual inspection and service call by your heating and cooling company. Technicians should inspect your system, lubricate components, and repair or replace any malfunctioning components.

We made it through the storm and there are sunny days ahead, but did you know that stormy weather can make health conditions worse?
1. Asthma
If pollen is a primary trigger for your asthma, some studies suggest what you already may suspect — that thunderstorms may be linked to an increase in symptoms. The theory is that the thunderstorms’ high winds carry pollen grains at ground level, which then get into the lower part of your airway. That can bring on symptoms such as coughing, wheezing, chest tightness, shortness of breath and noisy or fast breathing.
2. Allergies
Rain can impact allergies, too – in a positive way at first. When rain falls, it pulls the pollen out of the air, which reduces the amount floating around outside. Good news if you’re a seasonal allergy sufferer. But if a couple of days of sunshine follow the rain, plants start to grow and release pollen, which creates misery for seasonal allergy sufferers. They may experience an uptick in symptoms such as sneezing, stuffiness and even difficulty breathing due to severe nasal congestion.
This is why it is important to make sure you stay up to date on your maitenance and filter changes. Something so simple can be the biggest difference in your health.
